Course Description

臨床藥理學內容乃是注重於臨床藥物之機轉,使用目的,副作用以及預期效果的教學,並以針對各類疾病的藥物使用,俾讓高年級醫學生至醫院實習時能更易進入狀況,來進行此一教學課程.

We teach various important fields in cardiology including cardiovascular diagnostic tools and imagings, clinical electorcardiography, coronary artery disease, hypertension including diagnosis and drug therapy, valvular heart disease, great vessel(aorta and pulmonary artery) disease, cardiomyopathy, myocarditis, pericardial disease, congestive heart failure, pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery. Since 2007, we teach only core curriculum in cardiovascular diseases in auditorium. We change lectures in auditorium from 16 times to 8 times. The 2nd semester, all of the 5th-year medical students should go for bedside of the associated and affiliated hospitals of Taipei Medical University learning the basic clinical skill in cardiology including history taking, physical examination, medical records written skill. Also, cardiovascular clinical staffs will teach all students the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) in cardiovascular system and cardiac auscultation skill. Also, students should learn the basic examining techniques in cardiology including treadmill test, Holter electrocardiography, echocardiography and cardiac catheterization in cardiac laboratories. The clinical cardiovascular clinical staffs will discuss with students about coronary artery disease, hypertension, congestive heart fialure and arrhythmia with real cases (designed by Nen-Chung Chang, MD,PhD; Professor of Medicine[Cardiology] and Chairman of Department of Internal Medicine; Taipei Med Univ, College of Med.,2010 Sept)

To introduce the mechanisms of medications in the clinical use and to demonstrate the purpose (indications) and side effects and expectance of these medications

Required Textbook

 96學年度(2007)起本選修課核心課程,包括（1） 臨床藥理簡介（2）腸胃道及肝膽系藥理簡介（3）腎衰竭藥物使用與藥物動力學之改變（4）呼吸道之使用藥物（5）高血壓及心律不整之使用藥物（6）抗生素之介紹與使用（7）婦產科之使用藥物（8）小兒科之使用藥物. （9）抗癌藥物的使用, （10）耳鼻喉科之使用藥物, （11） 眼科之使用藥物, （12）風濕免疫之使用藥物, （13）降血脂藥物使用, (14)藥物交互作用，等. 下學期, 北醫大安排全体醫五醫學生到各實習醫院接受臨床實習教學。在各醫院,以實際案例接受臨床實習教學時，將加強討論臨床藥物之機轉,使用目的,副作用以及預期效果.
